I have totally different wheels just trying to get info on what these are. Incase they are an option for Kodiak owners.

Not to steal this thread, but what wheels do you have? I want to put those exact tires on my Freightliner but want to avoid machining. I was hoping to use these wheels:https://www.easternsurplus.net/PartDetails/5844/16-Stud-8-Hole-Wheel-Rim

I have the aluminum Hutchinson 22 bolt mrap wheels. They are around 24" outside the wheels in your picture look like 22" which is good. The 395 and 365 tires have a much larger bead and the wheels are designed to fit those tires.

I apologize if this is off topic but will military style wheels fit a full sized truck, (3500/f350) without a lift? I assume they would be heavier than stock wheels as well?
In regards to these wheels, if you run 335/85-20 you are looking at a 42" diameter and 13" wide, or 395/85-20 a 47" diameter and 15.5" wide, so no way. Also MUCH heavier. In aluminum about 82 pounds each, and in steel about 120 pounds each.

interesting find, an 8 lug rim but with more rim bolts than i've seen before. I think the steel ones that eastern sells were a prototype wheel that the military never actually used, i had tried to research those using part numbers etc but only ever found vague references in military 'request for quote' type databases. I guess these could be something similar, for a prototype, or as someone posted above used on a commercial chassis sent to war (I seem to recall some sort of 'bearcat' sort of vehicle that was used too).

if they're the right lug pattern and hub bore for a kodiak might be worth grabbing them. (I have a set of 5 lav/stryker wheels, these are definitely not for that platform)

I thought there were some armored trucks made for Iraq based off commercial chassis that used rims like that.
All the ones I have seen were F550 based, so 10-lug rims in both single and dual configurations. 'Wamar Technologies' was one of the builders.
(I am sure they did not want the superior C4500 Kodiak technology falling into the adversary's hands ;) )

Stazworks takes the MRAP wheels, cuts the custom lug center plates and machines it to the correct beadlock profile. Only people doing that as far as I know. I need that pattern too for my Honor (edit: Hino darned autocorrect) Ranger so that's probably the path.

Lots of diagrams here on Steel Soldier , but all ten-lug I think?

BTW- if anyone needs 10-lug AL wheels [335mm (13.188") pitch circle, 280/283mm (11.14") hub bore, Hub centric] with new 395/85-20s there is a guy local to me that has a set of 5 (surplus wheels, new tires) for sale. $2,000 for all 5. For reference, when the PO bought wheels and tires for my MB1017 he paid $950 per wheel and $800 per tire (commercial, not mil-surplus). These wheels can be flipped in & out, unlike most MRAP wheels. He also has a 'Manly' truck for sale. 140,000 lbs GCVWR or 175,000 lb GCVWR at reduced speeds ;)

The M1070 HET has the same 53" tall 16.00R20 tires as the MTVR, but the M1070's GVWR is only 86,000 pounds, not 175,000 pounds.

And the M1070 has a top speed of only 45 mph as compared to the MTVR's 65 mph top speed, making the M1070 useless to us as an RV...which is why we don't own one...

It is also so wide it can only be used with pilot cars. Was that your plan if you could get it to go fast enough?
