Military shipping container

I have 1.5 aluminum shiping containers to get rid of.....

40" x 34" x 30" high, made by Zero, waterproof, with lid seals and valves
originally for aircraft cameras

2 off box's and 1 off lid, all in ALU, with steel catches....

$ 80 takes them.......new cost of 6000 usd to uncle sam.......1 week only then I'm scrapping them for the alu

No shipping pickup only in Bakersfield CA, just north of the grapvine

here's one I chopped up earlier for imagination motivation

Pic is of one box with one 2" deep lid

I'm selling Two bottom parts but only have 1 lid.......pretty easy to make a replacement lid for the second box, which has a couple of busted catches as well.

yep...big empty box's...build to suit......baja box, before I built my trailer I used one of them on a hitch carrier on my TJ to carry gear,
trailer box.....add a tailgate
add hinges, build a kitchen ...its all down to how handy you are

I was curious because I've seen military boxes that have alot of stuff inside for holding whatever they were designed to hold and you have to cut it out to get a big, empty box.

I cut out all the packing ages ago, weight empty, not sure

its all high tensile alu and I can lift the whole thing pretty easily...its just dificult due to the size

ie way light for the size, not the usuall miltary overkill these were for airfreighting camera's.
