Military trailer overland budget build

This is more or less what I'm thinking of doing.
The front section is going to be a pullout drawer with a kitchen and the back it's going to be cargo.

I'm going to build the roof rack with superstrut.

There is another web forum run by a member here that specializes in home building pretty much what you're describing. They call them "explorer boxes" and have a forum, boutique type web store and building guides to help. If you haven't stumbled onto it already, it's worth looking into.

Not sure about the rules here regarding linking to other sites. You can do a search for tventuring trailer forum, that should get you where you want to be. I have one of the trailer building guides available at the web store. It's pretty handy and has good tips for constructing what you are describing.
