Moab By Range Rover, March 2012

Left yesterday from Wyoming to go to Moab for a few days. We have to be back in Montana on Monday, so this is going to be a quick trip unfortunately.

We drove through the Flaming Gorge yesterday.

This is a cool suspension bridge over the gorge.

Heading out for the trails in 30 minutes.

Made it through Gemini, Gold Bar, Golden Spike, and Poison Spider. 7 hours of fun! Pictures coming

Made it through all 3 today. All alone, no one on the trails at all! Loved it, it took about 7 hours. I thought the Range Rover was going to fall in the Golden Crack never to return. Talk about some pucker factor. I could barely take a poop when i got back.:grinpimp: I have a bunch of video, but its going to take me some time to get it up.

Carnage Report:

*Rear mufflers have been reshaped and have some new dents.
*Rear bumper was scratched up really well.
*Brush guard has been bent a bit
* front bumper is now cracked and bend on the passenger side like the grill guard.
*ripped a line off the windshield washer reservoir and spilled piping hot windshield fluid all over the place. I didn't know the windshield washer fluid was heated like a Mercedes. SWEET!!
*Popped the front passenger side spring out after going over the Golden Crack

Ran with 245/75/16" tires. Load range E aired down to 18 LBS. WORKED GREAT!

Saw one Broken down POS Jeep at the beginning of the waterfall on Poison Spider, stupid jeeps.:flipoff2:

Nice pix. I one went to Moab alone. It was an expensive lesson that I wont repeat.
