Moab Gossip

OS-Aussie

Adventurer
Mopar Performance and Dynatrac will be announcing a axle kit for the JK and TJ wranglers based on the JK military export leaf Dana 60. Dynatrac will have a full float conversion (5 on 5.5) with a front big brake kit also 5 on 5.5, brackets and pinion flange to bolt in to the wranglers. very cool

unconfirmed --- Tomorrow there could be an announcement that the JK line up will get the option of the 3.0 CRD diesel but no gossip on how soon this may be in production.

No more news on the 2.8 conversion for existing TJ wranglers.

I think that the JK 4 door with the axle upgrades and the diesel would rock !!!!

Great news for sure....Let's hope pricing is realistic.............

I have been holding off on my axle upgrades hoping to afford a complete swap. I am following this story..........

Miles of smiles

You know most hard-core Jeepers are smiling under their breath. Too many times have we been told one thing only to be disappointed. Last minute compromises have been the norm for all too long.

Mopar did have this there...

Leaf sprung JK w/D0 rear

I don't have a clue as to its US availability nor future release. As I'm told this is an Egyptian military setup.

Any other big news from the Safari? This kind of died out.
Watch for the upcoming issue of JPFreek Adventure Magazine for official news regarding the JT and J8, as well as a comprehensive test drive and review.

Oh how I hope that they offer something like those trucks with a diesel in the USA. Of course, then I might have to sell my nice 4Runner and start over with payments, which is not so good :-)

The green rig was running a 2.8 CRD diesel. It solidified my decision to run one of those motors in my XJ when I get around to blowing my motor. Blow-off valve and turbo sputter offroad made me have impure thoughts. In Utah of all places....

Stop staring at the XJ! Look at the green one!
