Moby1 owners?

Any long term owners ? Looking for info on how well they hold up over time. Any insight would be welcomed. I live in 4 season area. winter/spring/summer/fall. Lots of weather & humidity changes. Mine would be stored outside with a canvas cover, cotton tarp type material. Thanks in advance for your replies.

They look to be a built like any other teardrop material wise. I would assume they should hold up just fine in the long run. Just keep up on routine maintenance. I was able to check one out in person and it was pretty impressive.

Just look into some kind of heater or moisture absorbers for when storing it. Check out a local RV store or something and I'm sure they can give ya some tips on storing.

To all of those who ordered a Moby XTR .... How long, from the time you put a desposit down, did you have to wait before delivery or at least, completion of build?

Bombsight...when did you put your deposit down and what are you currently being told about lead time? We are waiting for ours too.

It's hard for me to tell, but is the underside of the trailer bare or does it have a clear weather protective coat over the wood?

I was just about to ask this same question. I wasn't expecting to see what appears to be a wood floor?

Interesting I'm sure with a trailer that is as well made and expensive as the Mobi1 it would have to have some protection underneath

Well I would assume most teardrops have a wood floor since the cabin is usually made from wood. I was just curious if the wood floor had some kind of protection from the elements outside.

As for protecting the underside from rocks and what not, well, that's just something you have to be careful with with a teardrop I assume. You could always add some sort of armor I'm sure to help from banging something.
