Modern Farm Truck

BTW - I don't know what's wrong with my camera. It keeps taking blurry pics. Time to replace it I guess...

That's it. One more for the books and yes, time to jump on other projects.

Thanks for listening.

Ok, Ive been watching and its been fantastic, but now I have to ask:

What exactly will the customer be doing with this truck? Its going to be set up for spraying, this much you said, but what exactly is he spraying that he needs a little pickup truck and not a farm sprayer or either pull type or selfpropelled?

Is he spraying rough hilly horse pastures for certain weeds or something? I guess Im confused on why this awesome custom truck vs a farm type sprayer.

Thanks.

Exactly, seems a shame to relegate this to farm work when it should be over landed and enjoyed.

Well let's just say he's a Toyota enthusiast. The owner of this truck has a few of them, all trucks, including a 600 HP 2008 Tundra 2wd, another Tundra 4x4 work truck (we're doing a SAS with FJ80 axle and radius arms on this one soon because he keeps breaking (!) balljoints), but the truck most people know him for is his 1st Gen 4Runner that I built for him. The one with the 1GR-FE V6 in it. http://www.fourwheeler.com/features/1402-1987-toyota-4runner-superrunner/

And don't think for a second that it won't be enjoyed. He can't wait to get his hands on it. The terrain on his northeastern Oregon farm is not flat, so normal farm equipment have trouble maneuvering. I'm sure this truck will be put to the test during it's regular day to day duties.

I was actually thinking the other day that you had left this forum. Glad to see more of yout work, very inspiring. Looking forward to more on the 4runner, that is saved as one of my dream rigs.

Wow, that Superrunner is a thing of beauty. Your work is of top notch quality. Can't wait to see the Tundra SAS.

What is the deal with the e-brake cable on the Superrunner? Did you just relocate the center mount to get it up high and keep the brake lines from hanging down in harms way?

Thanks.

The cable is actuating Supra caliper's parking brake, which have a much lower position on the lever than the original drum brakes, hence the low, angled cables.
