Cool, thanks for the write-up! Being a Pend Oreille native, the wife and I have been talking about a run up MolyB for a while now. How is the trail up from the gate? Mtn Bike-able? Is there much tree-fall?

Looks like you got a little lost. You were on the right road, but the snow messed you up. The trail head you found was the south approach to Grassy Top. I hike Grassy Top from the Pass Creek trail head. As for Molydbenite Mnt, you need to travel further up that drainage. There is a trail, but the Forest Service doesnt maintain the trail. It no longer appears on the newer maps.
