Summarizing what I'm learning:
Gen 1/2 1983-1999 : 6 X 139.7 bolt spacing and 108mm center bore (offset?)
Gen 3 2001+ : 6 X 139.7 bolt spacing and 67.1mm center bore +10 Offset (not sure about stock offsets)
You can run 106mm center bore Toyota wheels on a 67.1mm Gen 3 with big Hubcentric Ring Spacers.
You cannot run 106mm Toyota wheels on a 108mm center bore Gen 1 or 2. Unless you've got a big grinder and don't mind grinding the centers out a bit.
Some Chevy 1/2 ton 4wd trucks are 108mm and as such a lot of wheel manufactures marketing to the domestic crowd produced 6 X 139.7 wheels with this center bore.
