actually sounds like a broken timing belt and bent valves. So maybe not quite as much work as a full swap. Just a good mechanic and about 2k doll hairs and it'd be rolling right along again. with that said i'd try to get 1k knocked off that price since it's not functioning so you could play the whole "who knows if anything else works on it." even though we know likely nothing else is wrong since these things are so well built they just have poor owners

spun bearing, or timing belt tensioner, or bad lifter(s), I'd sure be tempted to check it out if I didn't have mine. At first glance I thought "scam", but upon closer inspection, had the right license plate, and decent explanation. Maybe a diamond in the rough for those hunting for the elusive clean 3rd gen with 3.8 and traction control.

Too late, already sold. I know because I bought it
Overall good condition, lots of little dings here and there. Its a 95 instead of a 96 but I can deal with no OBDII. Tires are more like 40% than 80% and only 3 match but for the price I think I got a deal.
