Standard for e350 with the 7.3; Villageidiot had them on his 4.6 e150 for a few miles before he upgraded to a full Weldtec setup.

Cc880S without a doubt with good shocks (Holstein, Fox...). I have an E150 5.4 and will not go any softer.

Is your van 2wd?

Old van is a 2000 E150 5.4 2wd.

I am using the same 880s on the Rig Runner (2010 e350 4x4). Not fully drivable yet, but I think I'll like them. I may put the ones on the old van into the new van as the have shag down a little and may help me with my rear being lower than the front.

Hoping one of you van gurus/suspension guys could chime in.

I installed moog cc880s springs today and they went in fairly easy although,

The bottom doesnt look right as it sits closer to/on top of axle arm. Pic of bottom and top

Mine fit the same way. I'm not a guru but I believe that's the way Moog designed them. One of mine has an offset to the 'plastic' seat at the bottom that seems to help a bit. One side touches sometimes and the other is just close.

I'm not worried about it... But if the springs settle a bit, I may add a small spacer to lift the front and increase clearance.

What year is your van? Are the knuckles different between the 92-97 (cc880s) vans and the 98+ vans?

I've always wondered why Moog has the CC880 and CC880s for 92-97 vans and then the CC81368 and CC81366 for 98+ vans.

Mine is a 1997. The current Ibeams are 2001... and appear to be the same as the 1997 ones I replaced... although I haven't taken measurements (yet).

Update-

The picture in post #52 is the driver side.

Today I did the passenger side and the spring on this side sits much better.

Test drive was a vast improvement over the 876 springs my van had.

Got an alignment scheduled for Monday.

If I'm bored someday, I'll round off the corner. The sharp corner wouldn't add to the strength of the I-beam so it could be easily rounded off.
