looks really good!

If I'm seeing the picture correctly, the hub lugs do not extend through the spacer lug nuts.
Something you may want to consider, is changing the hub lugs. They should protrude slightly through the end of the lug nuts for maximum strength, especially as these are not hub centric spacers.
On the very few spacer/adapter failures I've seen first hand, the one thing they had in common was too short of lugs, which was the cause of the failure.
Hope this helps.

That picture was taken before it was tightened down. They extend within a thread or two of coming out.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be watching then closely for the next couple weeks prior to our trip. Then very close during our trip.

Didn't work on the truck really today, I cleaned the garage in preparation for lifting my friend's XJ.

I did get my Wheeler's Off Road 150PSI fixed regulator.

Put it on to test it.

Worked nice

Of course, I had to make it look better...

Couldn't cover up the HazMat symbol, so I had to tape off around the top. Still happy with how it looks.

Oh, and got this at Friendsmas last year, and didn't put it on until now.

Brownie points if anyone can tell me what it means/is from. No Google!

Went to measure for bumpstops today....AND forgot to measure cause I was having so much fun...guess I'll have to do it again. Even more pleased with the articulation now than I was before...and check out that back bump...that will have to come off soon!

Even higher...

Been busy with other things unfortunately. Still feel like I have a never-ending list of things to do before the trip next weekend. We will see if I get them all done.

I did come across this on CL, and got a decent deal on it.

Our trip will be recorded! :wings:

Had to laugh when you posted about playing got in the way of measuring for bumpstops. I've been there more than once myself! :D
Somethings are just too much fun to pass up.

Been awhile since I've worked on my Jeep. Been helping my friend do a 6.5" IRO LA lift.

I did start back on it today. Making my own spare tire carrier. I wanted it to be foldable, so I could get in the hatch of course. Didn't have time to build a rear bumper like the front, so this is what I came up with. In order to buy what I'm making, I'd be looking at somewhere near $200. I'll have ~$55 in this, plus the cost of paint.

4' section of 2" tube. Cut a 45 degree angle in it. flip around to make a 90 degree. Going to weld a old wheel bearing hub assembly on it to make a mount for the tire. The hitch costs $25 at walmart. The metal place made the cut for me. I'll probably have to take off some of the metal, as I think 4' total was a little high.

Also getting ready for a second battery. Hoping to have one in by Friday morning. I took a Durango box, cut off the side of it with a cut off. I should be able to bolt it down in two locations, which will be plenty of support. I will have to move my PS cooler around, but that will be easy.

Interested to see how the dual battery tray works out. I'll be doing that at some point.
