Has anyone had experience with motorized ham radio antenna mounts? The two mounts that I am looking at are the Diamond K900LR MO and the Comet MK-30H. They both rotate a mobile antenna between horizontal and vertical (90 degrees).
I have used the diamond one in the past. They work well for tucking away an antenna so you can get in a garage or parking area. They have a slip clutch and will fold back if hit but will not take constant hits like you would find offroad.
