Mounting a Xantrex 2000W ProSine Inverter.. Orientation Questions???

Hey Guys

Almost done buttoning up my build.

Only thing left really is my Xantrex 2000W ProSine Inverter to install and some misc small items.

Glancing at the instructions, it says in Capital Letters: "DC Connection should NOT point up or down"

Well... There goes the idea of where and how i wanted to mount this..

Anyone have any idea as to why they would say this, and if it is a valid concern or not?

I am kind of stumped as to why..

My guess would be the heatsinks and the way it's designed to dissipate heat.

I did as much googling as possible and cant find anything about it. I think i will redo my layout to follow their instructions to be safe.

maybe call Xantrex tech support (monday am) and run your original idea past them?

I have it all mounted up and ran all the cabling today per their instructions. Not ideal, but will be safe, and will have piece of mind.
