Mounting Options for Front Aux Lights

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by.

I need some help trying to figure out options to mount some KC Daylighters on the front of my truck.

The truck is a 2014 Silverado. So far the only option i've found is to install a bull bar, which i am not a fan of.

I tried looking around but didn't really find much info.

Any points in the right direction are greatly appreciated.

Funny enough A-pillar options are pretty easy to find. But mounting them on the front bumper, not so much.
Seems like the only real way is to use a bull bar

Here's a pic of what i am looking to find info on.
Baja designs lights mounted on the bumper.
At this point i think they just drill a hole into the plastic oart of the bumper and screw them in

KC Daylighters are BIG !!!!! are they not round ????
Cut round holes in the grille and "flush" mount them.
Build a custom steel bar behind the grille.

Those are 6” lights right?

That’s going to be hard to fit in the Chevy bumper. That Randy Ellis bar above is probably your best bet, but it has the same look as a bull bar. Just smaller.

I had a Smittybilt street light bar on my F250. It was very well made and bolted to the existing front tow hooks. I don't think I'd mount lights to any plastic bumper parts, I would worry they would not stay put.

Theres a pain in the neck way to remove the grille on this generation GM truck, and use some aluminum or steel stock to mount in front of the condenser. Replace the grill to have the truck look stock but have the lights shine from behind the grill.

Google Mark Jenkins with GMC Sierra. He has a video on it (I'm sure others do too, but his comes to mind)

Thanks for the replies everyone, im gonna take a look the the smitybilt mount, might be what i am looking for.
Defi itely not want to add these lights behind the grill.
And yes they are the round 6" lights

If you are looking for the one that mounts to the tow-hooks, I checked the website and saw nothing for our generation GM trucks (mine's a '14 GMC Sierra). Perhaps the stuff from 2010 fits. I dont know

That’s what I did on my ‘11 2500, that was for little led lights.
I wish I could find a way to mount my huge hella 4000’s on my new ranger. Problem is they’re ~6” deep.
