Toyota 4Runner has been sold. I simply received an offer I couldn't refuse. I'll still be lurking, and in the coming future, will be back in a Toyota. This 4Runner has made me a believer in this brand. Thanks ExPo!

Sad to see it go! What are you getting next?

Same here, but i've learned to try and not get too emotionally attached to vehicles. I'll be doing a lot of commuting here soon, so I've started looking at early 2000 Subaru Legacy/Impreza. I still want to maintain the ability of AWD/4WD since weather can get slippery around here come winter. I've got 2 more years left of college and then the real fun will begin, as far as a potential vehicle will do.

Keep them coming

Good luck to you !! Really enjoy your builds and posts. Gotta say your right on the mark with your vehicle choices.
4runner , XJ , Subaru your gonna go far and in style . I'm somewhat biased however since I currently own one of each . They all do it for me but I'm partial to my XJ , no the Subaru wait the 4 runner is my favorite, I think . Anyway, wish you success in all your endeavors. Looking forward to your next quality expo machine build !!

Thanks for stopping by. Both XJ and T4R were great vehicle, both serving different intended purposes. As I advance through life, situations change, as do priorities (making a profit helps too). It sounds to me like you truly have the best of all worlds with your vehicle selection; something similar to the stable of vehicles I would like to own, at the same time. I'll still be lurking on ExPo, as it is one of the most exception enthusiast-based forums there are! I appreciate your comments jeepon, thank you.

too bad its gone, i was really looking forward seeing where it went. my first real offroad experience was in a identical 4runner traversing southern alaska for 2 weeks with my dad when i was 10 years old. looks like i'll be finding my way into a 4runner here shortly myself.

I can agree with that statement. I miss the 4Runner... it was so easy on the eyes and really met all my needs. Financially though, I did make the wise decision. I hope to get into another 4Runner in the coming years, or a Tacoma. These are really stout vehicles and I can certainly see why their values hold so strong.

BTW, I've always followed your builds on JF. The work, as well as builds, on your Jeeps have always been top notch.
