Damn!
Life has lots of surprises But I still believe I'll install that VK56DE in the future ^_^
Damn!
Bummer ... had hoped to see this come to fruition. Ah well. It'll still be a beast with the motor you're using instead.
That's too bad to hear, sucks that the cost is so high!
The big engine would be sweet, but I don't think I'd have the guts to do it. Every time I go fooling with the engines in my trucks, they get less reliable. Something always goes BOOM!
Props to you though, your plans are sick my friend!
One of those is a Navara!
I understand what you mean by the sound. Secretly, my favorite ever engine sound is a Jaguar or BMW I6. Makes me weak in the knees.

Haha! Thanks
Updates:
The engine was priced at 4900$ but after a discount got it for about 3600$. With all the work, adapters, custom wiring harness, Haltech Platinum Sport 2000, some extra tuning for more power = 2600$ approx. A total of 5400$ + shipping the car to the northernmost part of the country (~1200 km) for about 25 days after they receive it. You may say 6000-7000$ if something new comes across.
