Very nice! Some good mods on there. Those tires almost look arctic ready! I'll bet you get good flotation out of them.

Thanks! :)
Haha, nah... you'd fit 44x18.5s on with a bit of work for the trips to Santa Claus :elkgrin:1

Yep, thought it was about time I had a proper look around here and put up a few pics, James :)

I've always loved the doublecab 110, pure unobtainium here for the most part but it is nice to see someone make such good use of one. I still hate you.

thanks :D

Here's some quick pics of the interior. I'll be getting the four seats re-trimed in the new year in leather. I had just the standard LR seats with Exmoor trim covers before the Recaros.

Need to make the new center console as I'll continuing it the full length of the cabin.

Could you share some details on how you mounted front seats in the middle row? I've seen it done, but methods have varied and I'm always curious to see how folks do it.

No, prob. I'll be getting them retrimed soon so will take pics then :)

Wicked truck, very nice build! When do you plan on fitting the diffs?

Thanks, Need to do a few bits to it for it's annual road-worthiness test in the next couple of weeks so I'll get them fitted then. Looking forward to the difference they make!

Dave, what make are those rear seats? How hard were they to fit? Any chance you could post up a pic of the mounts? I'm keen to do something like that in mine.
Nice truck, I think they are all a work in progress. You must be getting near the end by the looks of it?

thanks
Jason

Thanks. Haha, yea... I'd like to think its nearly finished but I know the chances are it will never need no work done. By the time I'm happy with all the stuff I want to add to it, more than likely it'll be time to build a new engine for it or do a galv chassis rebuild.

Will never sell it anyway so in no rush I suppose :)

They are Recaro LSes. They came in lots of late 80s and early 90s cars like BMW 3 series, fast fords and Opels (my rears are from an Opel Kaddet), VW GTis, few rovers (front set of mine are from an Rover 900) and other similar cars of that kinda era.

Fronts were very easy to fit. Just pretty much two plates welded to the LR rails and drilled for the Recaro mounting holes on the bases.

The rears are abit more complicated as need the mounting frames to bolt to where the original frames are mounted in order to have a secure hold on chassis.

When I have the rears out again to be retrimed I'll take some pics.

Appreciated Dave, that would be great when you get the time.
I'm looking to put buckets in the rear of mine so I can plonk 12V freezer in between. Just not sure how to keep the kids out of it yet.
