I'm not sure why I ever tell myself "today I will do x,y and z". If I'm lucky I get x done, maybe y started

The little details and continuous "add-ons" will drive you absolutely crazy.....

Its in the works, ordering fabric soon and found a local supplier that has the aluminum I need to build this thing. If you really look hard at the pics the actual design of the Bundutec isn't complicated. I am pretty sure I can build a very similar replica for about $250-300ish. Oh, I also got the rear canvass door done, I'll get some pics of that up this weekend.

Rear Canvass door
Well, a few weeks ago I posted up a pic of me patterning the rear door of the trailer for a canvass door and screen. Up to that point we were just using that magic net thing. Although it worked great in non-windy conditions, well, when there was wind it, um, sucked! So I needed to make a door that was like a tent door. Here are a few pics of the door being sewed.
This first pic is of the pattern being transferred to the material.
Now to figure out the layout of the zippers to get the desired unzipping effect.
A pic of the door basted in place waiting to be sewn before trimming the screen. You can see the sipper underneath the screen. That will open the canvass and allow just the screen to be used as the door. It's sewn just like your ordinary tent door. You use the screen door during good weather and close the canvass during bad weather.
The shiny part you can see in this pic is where I will sew it, and after trimming.
Now, what I don't have a pic of at the moment is that I might have sewn the to close to the zipper edge of the inside zipper. I need to get it mounted up and see if it will loosen up more. If not I am going to have to take a stitch out. I will get this mounted this weekend and see.

Ok, so I had some time today to install the rear canvass door. Here are a few shots.
I put the netting on the outside and the canvass zipper is attached to the netting zipper. This allows me to unzip the canvass and roll it away when it isn't needed. Here is a pic of the outside.
Here is a pic of the canvass unzipped and the screen closed. From inside looking out into the messy garage.
Here is a pic of the same thing from the outside. I still need to paint the metal strips on the bottom. This should do nicely when is storms or to keep the bugs out!
And finally...my Fathers Day gift from my yummy wife!

That screen is slick, nice job.
I need to do something similar, screen only for my Alaskan, the dope building the thing neglected the screen door.(me)

Having a very basic knowledge of some of the skills needed to make this trailer I'm utterly amazed at your broad range of skills and how professional the end result is coming out.

Sweet, i'll do that to the zippers. The thread holes I brushed on silicone to seal the holes.
