Next was the 4" downpipe, as this was a top mount turbo the downpipe is super long.

Kept the exhaust the same routing but everything is just bigger!

I wanted OEM fitment and look, the welder and my mechanic did not disappoint.

It's been a long 6 months, so many ups and down the dust is thick on the car.

Oh yeah, heres a glimps of my front runner roof rack.



Finally putting the covers back on!




And this puppy is DONE!



Went for a test drive, side cover is leaking oil. I'll cut a new cork gasket. The idle is a little high. Alternator needs a rebuild.

On a high note, car pulls like a train, not as fast as my E60 M5 with 600HP but not too far behind for a refrigerator on wheels.

Nice write up and great photos. Thanks for posting! Only 1 bit of advise...go on and have your rims powder coated black cause you're gonna never be able to keep them clean with all the coal you're gonna roll on them especially the back right one! Happy Holidays!

While the intake is pretty free flowing, I think you would be better served having a water trap and routing the intake through the fender well like the G500. These parts are readily available used from Slava. He dismantles wrecked G500s here in Portland.
