Dan - thanks for posting this info.

Does that mount hold the ipad without too much vibration. Is it the same as the panavise mount? I bought the panavise to hold my HAM radio but would rather use it for the iPad if it will work. If possible could you post a picture of how it looks in that spot? I would greatly appreciate. I hadn't heard of the GROM system either, I'm anxious to research it a bit more. Does audio 'stream' through bluetooth or go through the auxiliary cord?

Dan,

I have the same set up in my FJ, and I will say that it bounces around a lot. I did receive some foam to help dampen the vibration, but have yet to use it. I will install it some time this weekend. It will hold an iPad very firmly. It's that the mount that attaches to the dash is thin metal. Hope this helps.

Wheel studs fixed, brakes completely replaced, parking brake done, tie rod replaced too. Tomorrow she goes in for flare removal and rear bumper design, stay tuned!

Rear bumper is officially started...will take one week to design, then off to cutting, bending, etc. then a fit and finish round. ACC in ATL is making it, and making it repeatable for you GXers!

It is a body compound with a special backing, better than bondo, cheaper than welding. Will be invisible once the liner goes on.
