Lots of work on the Montero this week. New rotors and pads, valve stem seals, exhaust work, trans mount, ball joints, upper control arm bushings, rotors and pads, gear swap!! Think that's it.....:Wow1:

tlr, you are cheating!!! You have a freaking lift??? I'm feeling so confused here because I have a wrenchin' woody and wrenchin' envy simultaneously. I wish I had a freaking lift!!! I could buy a new house with a bigger garage to go with it.

That's a lot of work! I'm sure it's going to shape up nicely. Totally jealous of the lift also

Yes the lift is nice. Especially when you work by yourself. Horns are hella nock offs from amazon. Sound the same though.

Put new needle bearings in the spindles. The ones in there where pretty gritty. Its nice having a press also. Need to get all this done for the big trip to Nova Scotia. :smiley_drive:

Nice, do you remember the brand? Or even maybe have a link to them on Amazon? I've been wanting to upgrade the horn on my Monty since I bought it, there was a while I was thinking about getting a train horn (when I still lived in California, lol) now in the Pacific Northwest I don't want it THAT loud, but a little louder than stock would be nice.
