The bunk support legs are 1/2" rigid water pipe. I made screw jacks out of them by welding a washer and hex nut to the end then inserted a 1/2" threaded rod. The stabilizer legs are again rigid pipe 1.5" with 3/4" threaded rod for adjustment. The attachment bracket is a piece of 2" square tubing. 90% of this is all junk pile material re-purposed. I'll try to get some shots up later today. This is nearly exactly what I plan to do with my trailer. What are you using for the support legs, and also for the stabilizers?

First trip to the woods was GREAT! Found out what works, what needs tweaking, and what needs to be scrapped. Pushed the trailer past the rocks into a "tents only" area and not a word from the local Rangers, so I guess the trailer does indeed qualify as a base for my tent and NOT an RV. Spent the night with my family and 4 others that I love, followed by my congregation gathering at the camp site for worship Sunday Morning. No sleep, too much food, great time had by all. Can't wait to get the changes made and head back to the mountains. If you are thinking about building a rig... do it now, don't wait. There are too many things out there to miss.
