The one I bought was the last of his "show trailers", and while it was several years old, it was hardly used and had been sitting at a friend's house in San Diego.
A little late to the party but thought I'd share. The builder (his name escapes me right now) was a very nice guy and did wonderful work. As you pointed out, his price point was too high and he could not make a living from it. Before moving to OK, he had 2 M8-A1s left, one Olive Drab and one Desert Tan and I remember him saying someone else was looking at purchasing one of his trailers. Not sure if it was you or if you bought it at a later time.

This picture you posted was taken in his backyard and the trailer to the left of yours (see tip of the fender) was the DT one running 33" BFGs at the time. He later switched the tires/wheels around... :ylsmoke:
