My new 02 UZJ100 -- Finally!

After a ton of searching and a lot of patience, I finally picked up myself a 2002 Toyota UZJ100 Land Cruiser with about 85,000 miles. I came across this one locally in Phoenix AZ and picked it up for $16K, which is a smoking deal. The truck is in great shape and runs perfectly and has been an AZ vehicle all it's life. It came with some cool stuff like Sat radio, blue-tooth cell phone junk, and the navi/DVD business. I have dubbed this thing "The Cave" since the damn tint is so dark zero sunlight makes it inside. It seems as if the only dirt this truck as ever seen has been that which blows across the highway on a windy day. The front bearings need to be serviced and one front brake rotor is warped. I will be taking care of all this myself after the holidays. Also very high on the list is getting rid of the 20 inch bling-bling wheels and replacing them with some 16x8 OEM Land Cruiser wheels and some 33 inch BFGs. Plans for this one will be an OME lift, sliders, skids, ARB front, Slee Rear, roof rack, fridge, sleeping set up with drawers, CB, and 2M radios to transform it into an expedition style truck. All over time of course hahaha... :sombrero:

Wow!!! That is really clean - look at the floor mats / carpeting - 85K miles and not a spec of dirt. Probably has some cobwebs in the TC - LOL.

Interested to see how this vehicle takes shape.

I like the dubs, just get some a/t's
truck looks clean, great buy!

Thanks man! BFG ATs are the plan, just on different rims.

...sand the whole thing, and paint it flat black with like a satin clear-coat!

Yea that would be flipping awesome and the though has crossed my mind. I wonder how that paint holds up to scratches though...

Wow Laurence! That thing is.....gangsta! :costumed-smiley-007

Congrats!!

Leather seats...you are really glamping now!

HAHA! Thanks Heidi! I was wondering who would be the first to toss out the "glamping" statement. I should have known it would be you HAHAHA! Right now it is gangsta camping...

Very nice.

Thanks!

bling bling

Hey Ted thanks! It is very clean and I was really lucky when I found this one. Especially under the circumstances which allowed me to get such a great deal on it.

Very nice!

Those 100 series are sure cool!

Congrats

Thanks Will! Sierra Expeditions is going to be seeing a little more of me over the next 6-10 months. hehe.

YESSSS!

Great to see you find exactly what you were looking for...well, almost. I'll be tracking your progress along w/ the others. I also am going the OME route, I just got a quote from Wil at SE for a full suspension upgrade that will happen in the Spring.

Again, congratulations!
