What TexasTJ said! It is a three way toggle that allows you to turn the rear IPF "off"/"on in reverse"/or "on"

Thanks

Okay, sounds nice, I want one. I would like some info on your manual swey disconnects, how they work for you and where you got them? From AEV?
Pictures?

Thanks / S

I'll have to get info and pics later.
I purchased this AEV built truck from Nemer Chrysler Jeep in Queensbury NY. They did the manual disconnects for me. Why Manual? The manual release allow about twice the drop distance than the electronic release. Yes, it is a minor pain to do this manually, verses the electronic release, but ... hey, it is one less electronic device to worry about!

Bill- I try not to get angry — I think it has happened once or twice in my life, but never on the trail!
I've had some sphincter lock moments when I was scared I was going to roll the 110 when I had it (Dale was with me that particular time), but never angry.

:D

I mean, have you used the manual discos yet in a real trail situation. Gotten on the ground, in the mud, dirty. Acutally needed them.

Having lived on both sides of that fence, I'll take the electronic swaybar disco any time...

The IPF back up light is on its way.
Okay, I understand, thanks for the info.
let me know when you have some more info about the sway disconnectors they used on your Jeep. I want to know what manual swey disc is best, and assume that they are installing the best on the AEV Jeeps :)

Well, my ONLY complaint so far almost a year after ownership has been the headlights of the JK. I also prefer Hella aux lighting to the IPF.
So, my buddy Bill (Hilldweller) plugged me into Dave at Susquehanna Motorsports (Rallylights.com).
I was able to purchase a set (first production set sent out) of Hella 90mm projector lights (like you see on the front of a Prevost bus).
Yes, they take some getting used to as far as look goes, but they have grown on me. They look slightly military to me.

Additionally, Dave supplied me with a set of Hella 4000's Euro lights with the city bulbs and a 100W + 50W Euro bulb. The City light is wired into the day time driving lights that automatically come on in day time (the front bumper fogs on a lower setting than when run as fogs). He also sent me a Hella Rear Twin work lamp to replace the IPF.

Truthfully, the lights hadn't bothered me as much because the mass of my driving so far (owned a year now, and only has 6200 miles) has been daytime driving, but lately, I had started doing some night time driving and realized ... I COULDN'T SEE!! I had to do something. Id didn't like the Truck Lights because I have a tendency to have "target fixation" and the "hash" marks produced by the LED's would have driven me nuts. Additionally, the pulse and that secondly would have driven me nutzoid!
Some of the other choices out there, have "ghost" shadows that they emit (think Mag light center shadow!). I wanted crystal clear un-disturbed light.

These lights BLOW AWAY all the other lights Bill has tested.

Dave is working on some alternative surround that will better mimic the original 7" surround, but until that time, I am content to be able to SEE when I drive.

Here are some pics and a link to the Test results.

Thanks Bill for helping me get set up with this massive improvement.

PS: I opted for the Hella Matador work lamp on the front, because I can easily reach it and aim it from inside the truck. I have it wired into the acc fuse, so It turns on from the switch on the back of the lamp when the truck is on, but not when the truck if off.
