My new Manley ORV

I wasn't in love with my spare setup, so after talking to Josh at Manley, I ordered a 3 way ratchet strap and redid everything including adding a loop to the cross bar. Now it stays nice and snug and it can tilt forward with the lid when opening. Much happened with cheap spare version 2.0.

Great trailer, seriously considering one of these. Next time you have it hooked up to your JK can you take a pic with your tailgate open? I'm curious to see how much room is left when the door is open and pointing straight at the trailer, to see how big a tongue box would fit. Thanks!

Been a while but between a new baby and cold weather I haven't ventured out much. Lucked into a set of AEV Pintlers to match my Jeep and then scoured Craigslist for a couple serviceable Duratracs to match the Jeep as well. So with matching tires/wheels I ditched the spare.

I didn't get to take a picture with the tailgate open, but hopefully the above picture helps some. I could easily open the tailgate, but not sure how much room I would have for a box. I have to be careful because my Teraflex tire carrier puts the tire really close to the tailgate, so it has to be open all the way to get my rear window open on the hardtop.

Yeah, but I don't want to paint it. Plus I have been bad about changing vehicles before, so a nice neutral color is probably safest, lol

So far I love it. I started out with a leveling kit and 10A springs, the AEV lift rides and handles way better and has much more flex too. Much more enjoyable Jeep with it.

Started my mad rush to get ready for MAOF next week, so I installed a tongue box that I got through a fellow member here. Also ordered my propane tank and mount, and I'm getting my battery for the box today.

So the work continued on this week and today. I picked up a 5 lb propane tank and mount for my grill and other propane needs, and got that mounted up.

I then proceeded on to the tongue box and electrical system. The goal was to have a large deep cycle 12V battery, couple of sockets, and DC as well as AC recharging. Components ended up being the following:

Duracell Group 31 AGM battery - Deka remake for only $179
Toad-Charge 10A DC to DC charger
Ctek 4.3 MUS AC charger
Blue Sea 6 circuit fuse panel and battery cutoff switch
Blue Sea 12V socket
MinnKota Trolling motor plug for larger wires on fridge circuit
Cobra 800W inverter (collecting dust on shelf)
15GFCI outlet and cover
NOCO charge plug

I mounted everything up today (became an all day affair) and I'm very happy with the results. Works fine so far, we'll see how it goes on the maiden voyage of family overlanding this weekend.

Nice work on the electrical. Having just finished refubishing the 12v system on my trailer (my first electrical project) I admire the clean set up you put togehter. I'd like to take a closer look at MAOF.

Sure, you guys are welcome to look. Heck, if you don't mind kids I need some camping neighbors, since this is our first time there
