So I picked this up off Cl yesterday for 400 bucks. It has 3 brand new Toyo Open countrys on it so i figured it was more then worht it. Not sure what kind of trailer it is, but my neighbor whos i a military nut seems to think it maybe some type of european trailer. All I know is its perfect for what i need. Upgrades will inlcue a tubular axle with the correct bolt pattern, flipping the axle and adding shocks. Also gonna rhino line the tub add jerry can holders and possibly a water system.

Looks like a good start. What is the boly pattern now? I converted mine to 5 on 4.5 with stuff at Northern Tools.

Or the hubs are industrial. Lots of farm equipment and some John deere stuff used those damned lugs..

Good find!

Very cool little trailer. I can't start looking until I get rid of my PWC that I never use any more.

I picked up a trailer a few months ago that is the same style as yours . Mine was built as a dump trailer. Under several coats of paint there is olive drab paint and a few numbers and letters I can't make out. I have been very curious of its origins. They seem to be a very well made trailer. Looking forward to your mods!

Nice find. It looks like a solid foundation to start a build around. I'll be interested to see how it turns out.

Yours might be a Converto dump trailer. Check the 1/4 ton trailer forum at g503.com for threads about these. Some of the threads have photos.
