Vency, welcome to ExPo! Your Daihatsu looks like
a great platform for adventure travel.

Daihatsu sold cars in USA during the late 1980s and
early 1990s. The first generation of the Feroza was
called the Rocky when it was sold here. Daihatsu
got engines from Toyota for this model.

Over the years, Toyota has gradually increased its
ownership of Daihatsu stock. Today, Toyota owns
51% of Daihatsu. It would be great to see Daihatsu
models offered in USA again, under the Toyota name.

Most diesel engines under 3 liters in Toyota are sourced from Daihatsu and therefore the D in Hilux D4D or Innova D4D. They are great reliable engines with long life, all the other bigger diesel engines in Toyota are made by HINO which made the big TLCs legend with their indomitable character.

One year using Feri's as a day car and a car for fun, i can told you , that feroza is not so bad i think i a first place :)

Here some builds that i made.

I had big problems with carb, so.. unmount, clean, deassembly and assembly again.

The antenna was too high.
In Bulgaria , we drive a lot in forest. So i had to find another place.

The registration plate was good.

Looks quiet cool, your Fero. ;)

I've got one myself! I'm still in 'repairing' mine. New paint, getting rid of the rust... Bodylift, roofrak. Those kind of things =)
