My Scepter score from today

Pretty excited about this as I am usually not the person who finds the killer deals. Anyway, I checked craigslist for the first time in a while last night and saw an ad for Scepter MFCs. This is what I ended up with today:

There are 13 of them. I bought every one of them he had. He was asking $10 a piece. He said he would take $75 for all 13.

I gave him $80 and we both left happy. :bike_rider:


Now where's the best place to buy a wrench, gaskets, etc for these things?

I've been using a strap wrench to give it that little extra 16th of a turn to keep them tight.

Hah, you made me go look at mine... interestingly mine don't say that, even though they were purchased as part of a lot to be provided to the US Government by a subcontractor as part of a vehicle system. Maybe only the ones directly purchased say it?

I picked up 3 a couple weeks ago too. The guy had a 4th but the bottom was pretty crusty. He had them marked $12-17. I got 3 for $30.
