Got lots done today, finished sanding, primed painted, cleaned the new wheel, and rehabed a jerry can, the other had a pin hole in it, and picked up my new fenders from Kens!!

are you going to stay with the stock hitch? I was always afraid of my stock Fulton hitch popping off as it was worn and would make all kinds of popping noises on and off road. I got a Max coupler from Adventure trailers and fabbed a mount for it. the original safety chains were too short so I am using M416 safety chains. the Max coupler will slide out of the trailer for added theft protection.

New lights installed, I hacked off the old light panels & lights, and drilled the frame and installed the LED's: red in the rear and yellow along the sides.

All I need now is the tires and I am good for a while!

I will at some point change over, but for now I am using the ball. I am building this with limited funds at the moment.

Well since my trailer came without a tailgate, I was able to find a CJ tailgate complete for $50.00. Now I just need to make it fit!

The main reason is my condo association decided it was against the rules to keep here, the second is I just need a larger vehicle for 2 people, 2 80-lbs labs, and what we hope is a baby on the way.

I am actually looking at weatherm's 1980 seires III 109. I've always wanted one and it has more than enough room.
