My XP V1 Shakedown Thread

I am re-examining all the options available in truck campers while waiting on the truck. The reason being that my spouse (CFO/CEO?) is not particularly enthusiastic about both the XP camper size, nor its price, so researching/reevaluating/looking at all options for this truck.

I too really like(d) Marc's work. And my wife was in the same boat with your spouse. So at the end of the day we went with a fairly loaded new FWC Hawk Flatbed model for our Ram 2500. The aluminum flat bed is being fabricated and installed this week and the Hawk will be installed on October 20th.

PS Your diesel Ford would work great with a Hawk Flatbed. (I still have enormous respect for Marc's ingenuity and craftsmanship and I never say "never".)

glideking, if I may ask... what was Marc's build time for your camper?

Probably a long time if starting now. They were starting to speed up, then they had a mold failure. We have a V1 on order, I'm bracing myself for a 10 month wait.

Mold failure? That could be an expensive setback. Both in lost production, therefore, sales, and also the expense of man hours to repair or replace.
