Roaming through the posts here on ExPo I've noticed a number of Make Your Own Gear posts attached to other topics, but I can find nothing really dedicated to gear that you make. I'm gearing up for the summer months -- there will be many miles of bikepacking/touring if things work out as planned -- and that means I'll be making and/or modifying gear to suit my needs.

Right now I'm about --><-- that close to getting my next bike. My current long distance touring bike has some DIY projects already integrated. I'm betting that some of you have similar projects you can take pictures of and post up.

Helping fit a Jandd Bar Bag to Butterfly Bars

I have a very nice bar bag from Jandd. Had it for years and I like to mount it pretty much when ever I head out on any of my bikes. Last summer I built out a long tail (called the Mule) and used a set of butterfly bars I had lying around. These are extremely comfortable bars for long rides. However, they didn't let me mount my favorite bar bag to them. This is a modification of an existing mount to allow me to mount this bag on the Mule.
