A little group buy going on: FOR SALE brand new in the box mypressi TWIST refreshed (this is the new "refreshed" model released this month) espresso press.

I own numerous espresso making devices but this one has to be seen, used and you ultimately need to taste the incredible espresso it produces to fully realize what a value it is for espresso hounds :coffeedrink:.

Crema laden rich espresso that rivals, and in some cases, surpasses commercial machines costing thousands of dollars! Double espressos, single espressos and it even will make espresso from ESE pods. And its super quick and easy on the clean-up side!

Based upon my usage the mypressi TWIST refreshed REALLY does live up to all their marketing material!

So here's the dealio: You get a brand new in the box mypressi TWIST refreshed AND a case of 24-N2O cartridges (the mypressi also comes with an additional 4-N2O cartridges in the box) AND free shipping (lower 48...no PO boxes) for $160. I just have a few to sell so once they're gone...

One of these new mypressi TWIST refreshed systems adorns my Land Cruiser and KK trailer!

Read all about them here: http://www.mypressi.com/

PM or e-mail me for payment info.

I'm going to guess the ability to use freshly ground coffee as opposed to the ESE pods gives you a better result than the handpresso? What I've found with the handpresso is that it makes a decent espresso, but I feel the oils from freshly roasted/ground coffee are lacking with the ESE pods; thus the overall flavor suffers a bit.
I know you've used both and I would appreciate your thoughts.
Regarding buying one of these - if you still have any left by the end of the month when my bank account is replenished a bit, I'll likely bite.

The only advantage to the ESE pod is convenience. You do sacrifice taste...and higher per shot price...these are the trade-offs. The Handpresso (both versions) along with the Presso I've been using produce good/OK espresso given their portability and relative simplicity.

The espresso that comes out of the mypressi TWIST refreshed is crazy good: I don't want for better now. Rich oily crema (instead of 'crema foam') just like you'd expect out of commercial espresso machine: But affordable! And you choose whether you want to use the single shot basket, the more traditional double shot basket or the ESE pod basket.

A major difference between handpresso and mypressi is the pressure profile. Mypressi has a steady 9 Bar pressure after the initial ramp up where hadpresso will have a falling pressure as brew progress.

I've been using mypressi for the past year it's my only espresso machine now. It's great that it take so little space.

Sorry to steel in...but whats a good grinder for the beans of heaven? Any recomendations?

I've been using this Krups model for about a year now. Gives a good consistent grind. It's fairly quick and quiet.

Again working my way up, over the years, from the el-cheapo plastic grinders to my current Mazzer Mini was expensive. I should have just bought the Mazzer to begin with and 'cried once'. There are a couple decent rated grinders in the $400-$500 range however I haven't used them.

The Mazzer, unlike all the other's I've owned, is static free: No mess! Its not the grinder for you if you grind all the way from french press grounds to espresso but its super for my espresso grinder.

Id love to get one of these but need to try them first. My bialetti moka was fine early on, but i want something that gives a richer taste profile.

So, does it use a whole N20 cartridge per espresso? Or will it make more than one from a single cartridge?

PM me details for payment. We can do PayPal like before; I just need a reminder on the email address.

Oh, man, this is the coolest thing EVER! I just bought the contraption that CumminsCruiser sent me, though, so I can't justify it. I LOVE COFFEE!
