So a 2001 model is up for sale here locally.

"2001 Turbo Diesel 43k miles, 12000 lb winch, 47 gallon diesel tank, sleeps 4, 10 gallon water tank, stove, propane heat, fridge, cb, alpine av/dvd system, much much more. "

Looks like the top pops up too.

This is per his for sale sign with the lack of a price. I left a voicemail, but I am curious to know what this price range might be. The diesel is a big + to me as I want to run bio.

The big question to me is do I drop the land cruiser to go with this instead as my 4x4 / south america and back truck or keep the cruiser. Sportsmobile are new to me and just not sure how to play it. The fact that my cruiser is going to go under the knife for diesel makes it a hard choice. I have a picture, but don't have it posted on a site.

I say $45-50k with that mileage/motor and year.

As a fellow 80 owner that switched to a SMB..... remember, the SMB is waaay bigger than the 80. That may or may not hinder your travels. Just letting you know that cause i miss the size of my 80 on the trail. And it's not so much the width.. but the length of the rig. If you get a EB you'll notice it right away. Not as bad with a RB.

It is a SMB? That's really good mileage for a 7.3. Great motor. I agree with Dave, 40ish???
