so i would like to announce the name that trailer contest , the winner will recieve ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING !! ( a great big thank you ) and why didnt i think of that ?
over the past couple of months i have been giving my trailer a make over cuz it dosnt match my new jeep, my buddy randy west has been kind enough to let me use his shop again and i would like to thank him some how (besides throwing him a couple o hundred bucks) and i was thinking
it seems that everybody has a name for their trailers Pat has his R.O.A.M project. then there is the beer crawler , and all the other cool names,
i would like to call it GO WEST or somthing like that using randys last name, but i think go west has been used somewhere and i dont want to get in trouble or nothin,
my trailer which i built a few years ago used to look like this,
i had the trailer sandblasted , then i took it all apart and have been cleaning things up a bit.
bedliner inside the tub , fenders frame and lid, i will be painting the tub this weekend ,mango tango to match the new rubicon, this is why i kinda want to come up with a good name, now that i am ready for paint, it would be good to do it now
i also changed a couple of things ,namely the rack, my tent was designed to be 59'' from the ground , now with 35's going on it would be to high ,so i cut off the rack and welded some tabs to bolt the rack too, this way i could easily remove the tent if i need to and bolt on a different rack for canoes/kayaks or whatever
