3 options I can think of:
1. Move the other awning forward until the rear awning will clear it and get a 48". Side awning position usually doesn't matter as much. This is the cheapest option.
2. Replace the existing awning with a 270 degree free standing (wing style) awning. Most expensive option.
3. Make your own. Jay from OVRLND suggested this to me and it worked well. You can attach some sunbrella to the rack using awning track and keder awning rope cut to 44":
Awning Track Flanged Black is a heavy duty awning track (PVC extrusion) with a flange along one edge for installation.

Keder Awning Rope attaches to the edge of fabric and slides into awning track for a strong, nearly waterproof attachment to a hard surface.

I used the marine grade green sunbrella 60" wide. Hemmed it's about 58". Yours will have to be cut to 46" hemmed to 44". You will need some adjustable tent poles if you want it free standing. Grommets for the poles, tent stakes, rope, adjusters, and maybe some short sections of webbing to provide something to tie support ropes to. I used an aluminum angle bracket cut to 58" with 2 holes to provide support at the tent poles so it didn't sag.
The extra at the end can be tied out at an angle, rolled up and left on top, or dropped down like you see it to provide maximum shade for low sun angles or horizontal rain.
The hard part is finding someone who can sew and wants to take the time to do it. I found this guy Josh at
https://www.outofmymindesigns.com/ in Carson City, NV who originally told me $60 but then when I went to pick it up he said $20 (!). I insisted on paying him $40 because $20 is way too cheap for the help he gave me with the design and sewing.
