Wow, that's pretty cool! Kind of heavy for my 4-banger at 2200 pounds, though. Really neat shelter system.

It would want to be your base camp as it does not look like a quick deploy or pack up.

Shame tent does not deploy out of the unit and cover it allowing covered access to the side boxes and a sleeping area as part of the trailer.

Maybe I should say the worlds biggest tent bag............... could have been a lot cooler with more thought

Kind of cool, but yeah i agree.. kind of a waste.. its like pulling up with a trailer and deploying a big ez up behind it.

And that front 60's looking grill has 'gots to go!'

I'm missing something, where do you sleep? In the back shelter?

Yep, in the tent at the back........

More I think, they are missing something.

However the actual tent system is very good just maybe not what would be suitable to single night stays and late arrivals and early departures. Now as a base camp to explore from I can see it as a better idea that traveling.

If you had a tribe of kids and doing a National Park tour with multi-day stops ...

Basically take the military tent and try and cross sell it for RV travel. Great tent system for extended encampment but not necessary so hot for vehicle dependent travel. However base trailer has some cool points, except as above for the 50's grill thingy.

Maybe AT could shorten it and add a RTT and restyle the front. oh, wait that maybe coming in June.......
Ok, who knows what is next, but I am sure something is a foot.......

I really don't get it at all. You seem to be pulling an very large and heavy cargo trailer. I think you could do much better with a nice tent, waeco, and kitchen set up.

i dont know if you guys saw the links at the top, evidently they also make military tents and emergency shelters. tents seem to set up pretty easily, probably a 2 person job, but i guess a cot and sleeping bag in the rear tent area would be ok. not thinking of one, just never seen it before. if it has anything to do with the military i wonder if it comes with a $300 hammer for " pole steadying stake installation"
