New ARB bumpers for the big 3 HD trucks

Those look like a nice alternative to the ranch hand bumpers I've used on our last 2 f-550 drill rigs at work. Price is similar to what I paid for the ranch hands. I'd like to see one in person.

what is the purpose of placing the lowest crossmember and winch so low? Takes 6-8 inches off ground clearance.

Agreed. If I was building a super duty for expedition travel I wouldn't use a ranch hand bumper! However ground clearance really isn't a big concern with our trucks. In Florida the main reason we have winches and 4x4 under our drill trucks is to get through wet swampy muddy conditions. They're too top heavy with the equipment on the back to do any serious off roading. The big appeal of the ranch hand bumpers was having lots of real estate to mount my front hydraulic jacks to.

I was going to say snow plow mounts, after last winter in florida, you never know. ha ha. I am about 30 mins from tampa in Zephyrhills. I own a winter/summer home there. I go in the summer, The rest of the family occupy it in the winter, I go when My kids are out of school.
