New Arnott Air struts/springs for LR3!

So just got my shipment of new Arnott Industries air springs in today. New part number AS-2809. Going to install them this weekend. Anyone have any experience with these? Seems they've altered the design from when they used Bilstein shocks. I will be posting the install as it progresses with pics included.

Ordered OEM's because Arnott doesn't make the rears, and there have been too many instances of them breaking at the welds, warranty replacement delays, etc. I hope it goes well for you.

I actually have a pair of these new style Arnotts but haven't installed them yet. I theorize that the breaks I and others experienced are the reason for the new design and that my months-long delay for a replacement part was because of the re-design.

Yes I've noticed they don't make rear ones. So are they breaking due to heavy off road use? Or are they just breaking at random?

Wow do you think they broke from heavy abuse or did they just break randomly? I did read the thread of how you broke yours and saw the pics as well. Looking forward to seeing how these new ones perform. Sorry about your troubles!

And I will say I looked at these new ones last night and the weld at the bottom seems to be pretty beefy. I will post a pic when I get home

I think they are about $50-$100 difference depending on where you are buying them from

I would think so. Shouldn't make a difference if you purchased from an Arnott dealer.

Atleast I hope that's the case. I also purchased my Arnott struts from a dealer. I however have the Bilstein version.

Sorry, been off the portal the last few days.

Mine was due to heavy use. I can't seem to get the fact that an LR3 isn't a rock crawler into my muddled mind.

I snapped one off last year at the lower eye on Deer Valley trail in the Sierras. Of course I've also broken front, center, and rear CV joints on this truck in the last 12 months too, so I'm not a typical user sample.
