New Bronco

I just ordered a Badlands in cactus grey with sasquatch package and 2.7L. I went with the black-painted hardtop which pushed the delivery date 3 months so the salesman indicated an August delivery date.

Don't hold your breath for August. The painted hardtop does for sure push it back to the "late availability" section, but the sas and 2.7l may also push it back too, Lux package may also. When did you make your reservation? That's also part of the equation, and of course trying to sort out the dealer allocations. The monkeys at Ford are going to be pretty busy for a while pushing the beads around on their abacuses getting a build schedule figured out. Won't know till May when they're supposed to start notifying people. I reserved on 7/20 and do think I'll get a MY21 (similar to yours, just with a MIC top and High package) , but if there's commodity problems it could get pushed back to MY22 and then not get it till next year sometime.

Check out Bronco6G and you can revel in all the obsessing by true zealots.

You think they're that rational? It is entertaining at times though o_O

So many people there that are obsessing about minutiae and off-road capabilities that have never been farther off pavement than parking on a lawn.

Not only that but, I think some of these CUV's are a lot more capable that people realize...or even require....

This was a great article. I was amazed what that Rav did.

Its amazing what you can do when you don't care about your vehicle... like that crown vic that ran Moab a couple years ago.

I am tired of dragging crossovers out of the snow, I am tired of cramming myself into crossovers and I am tired of working on sideways DOHC V6 engines that are bigger than my SBF.

So 2.3 Bronco it is :D

That should be fun! 2 or 4 door?

Bronco is def nice! But, as a 2nd vehicle Sport should do everything we need it to for 10K less or more. (assuming dealers don't put mark ups on Broncos....which they probably will)

4dr Black Diamond.

The Sport is a sharp looking rig. Our current Edge is borderline too small for me, I have sat in an Escape and it is almost to the point where if I took out the front seat and sat in the back I would be ok. I figured the Sport would be similar.

If you played the reservation game on the Bronco (ordering just closed last Friday) most dealers are just doing MSRP on the order. Some are doing a little under, without looking too hard I haven't seen any charging over MSRP. Anything that hits the lot will see a ton of markup though.

Kinda sounding like we will be getting a '22, we had a late reservation (November) but on the flipside it is a kind of basic build so that will help.

My dealer told me that Ford is pushing MSRP for reservation orders. I had a July reservation and ordered end of January. Basic build more important than reservation date, IMO.
