Today I bought a 1982 GL1100 Honda Goldwing.

That's really a Goldwing? Wow I didn't recognize it compared to the more recent versions. Enjoy the ride! :bike_rider:

Yeah, the new ones are incredibly complex! I think I counted 50 (!)switches knobs or dials in or on the dash of a brand new one a couple of weeks ago.

From what I have learned so far, there were three models available. The standard, the Interstate and the Aspencade. From plain to fancy respctively.

I was directed to the Naked Goldwing website (ngw.com) and have been happily wasteing time there as well!

Congrats on the new bike, Rex! Very pretty indeed. Be careful and keep us posted on how it rides. Hopefully the weather will clear up a bit and you get a chance to really enjoy it.

Went for a nice ride today to stretch its wings. Very nice at 75 mph and the day worked out to 40 mpg. Very pleased thus far...
