It doesn't really seem like that big of an improvement over the 60 series. All I got out of it was satellite imagery and a 3-axis compass along with some new smaller features. Meh.

I think it is to the point where there isn't much more function you can add to a handheld gps.

I like the bluetooth map sharing feature. that would be nice. too bad it only works with garmin untis would be nice to upload maps from my computer to the unit via bluetooth

And Garmins are Mac compatible which is nice.

If you want to get rid of your 60 let me know. Although I expect the price on the 60s will drop quite a bit when the 62 comes out.

Is it really Bluetooth, or a different wireless technology? I had thought the latter.

The 62 looks like a solid upgrade to the 60-series, which has fallen behind in terms of chipset, storage, wireless, etc. If you need an accurate vertical track position it will be a big improvement, and the "paperless caching" feature will be useful for anyone that wants more data storage.

I don't have a compelling need to upgrade from my 60Cx, but the 62-series looks like the way to go when I do. YMMV.

One thing that I hated about the 60csx is the SLOW data connection. The 62 series is a race car compared to the trusty old 60csx.
