Hey all, just stumbled across this sight the other night very cool! I have been into 4wheeling for quite some time now (about 10 years) ever since I got my license I have been exploring back country roads and anywhere that is just not populated. In 1999 I bought my 1988 Toyota 4runner since day 1 I have been modifying my 4runner for expedition- camping use .
After tinkering with the ifs for 8 years and knocking it out of aliment more times then I could count I decided to put the truck under the knife last summer. I SAS’ed the 4runner with a 3” lift front and a 4” lift in the rear since I also use this truck as a daily driver and outings that consist of a lot of highway driving I wanted my ride to be as comeftable as possible so I went with the Bilstein 5150 shocks and put my rear shackle angles to 35* Id have to say it has surpass my expectations in comfort, stoutness and rides almost as good as the Lexus, almost
In the spring I am planning on buying an 80 and setting it up the same way I have set up the 4runner at this point I am in need of more room and power that the 4runner can provide but I am going to keep the 4runner
