Shocker

What size are the tubes on the front axle? VanDOOM is a Pathfinder front end similar (different steering) with a Dana 44HD. I am curious. Thanks and looking forward to more pics!

Shocker the tubes are 10 1/2" around. There is also some custom bracket work welded to the axle. The next pics I post will give a better picture :)

Well, one thing you can for certain, whoever did the conversion certainly did not take the easy route! Lordy that looks complicated. I'd wager thats an NP-205 xfer case in there. Good luck breaking that beastie. :)

That's awesome. The square brush guard isn't my thing though. It would look so cleaner with just the loop.

While I agree with the aesthetics (or lack thereof) there IS something to be said for function over beauty. Personally I wouldn't start chopping off functional protection for a while. Let it grow on you a bit and then see how you feel.

Does that front sway bar penetrate the oil pan? Look at all that room under the doghouse!

I agree that the square stuff up front is fugly

Ujoint what questions do you have? And what gives away the pathfinder conversion? The guys who built it were NASCAR mechanics who apparently picked all the strongest stuff off their shelves and put it on this van. Is there some tell-tell signs that the parts came from the old Pathfinder Co. That would be great info for me to know when I'm out and about talking to people about it. Thanks, Aloha

Just why they did what they did! Dropping the engine/tranny/t-case, placement of the sway bar, etc. The radius arms & front axle are from a pathfinder conversion. Thats all :)

Ok, so that makes the diameter 3.34" which is too big for a D44 or D60 (not including Super Dana 60). Can you take a measurement of tube thickness? I am assuming it is 2.75. If it is a HD it will be around 3" or a bit over.

As for all the mods, wow, that is a lot. Looks almost nothing like mine. That swaybar screams NASCAR for sure.

Shocker that's good info, I'll measure it tomorrow and see. Yeah the swaybar is rad. It's unreal how stable this van is.

Ujoint, I'm sure that's why they did what they did. It's a lifted racecar van.
