New member with a new Tundra.

Hello everyone!
I want to build my truck so that I can be self sufficient for 2+ weeks at a time and thought this would be a good place to start.

It's a 2010 Toyota Tundra double cab 4x4 with the 4.6l V8.
I've already leveled it, done wheels and tyres and put new mirrors on it.
What I may need help with deciding is what type of living, etc setup I'll use...
I need to be able to haul a full-size sport quad in the bed (may get changed to a flatbed) and I like the idea of a pop-up camper or pop up RTT like the maggiolina, but I want to know all of my options before I bite the bullet.

Any suggestions or pointing me in the right direction is much appreciated!

Thanks!

Maybe with a rack like this, but must be high enough to fit your ATV under it.

Welcome..!

Do you need the back seats for passengers when your overlanding?? Because you can build a removable rack system for the back seat area to support a fridge/kitchen setup or storage if you dont, and that leaves the bed more free..

The new Tundras are very tempting.......Much bigger than my 05 double cab.

Have fun with the new truck.

Nate- I guess we have the same truck....Pretty darn nice trucks if you ask me!
Be sure to post some pics when you can.

My brother recently won a tubing bender from Pireat4x4 so I can build a rack to suit my needs which I will certainly do if I go the flatbed route, most of it will be tube. :victory:

I've been tempted to get an engel, but $$$
Much of what I do will be limited by limited funds. :(
