Nikon P6000 Point and Shoot (Gizmodo link)

Finally some competition for the Canon G series. Built in GPS for geotagging, RAW support (but ONLY FOR PC!), 13.5 megapixels and manual controls. $500 price tag.

It won't replace my D300, but for someone looking for something small with DSLR like functions, this might be a choice.

That sure looks like a sweet P&S. I'm hoping that the viewfinder actually does a decent job. It looks like it would be a very good rangefinder like camera.

I might just have to figure out how to get me one of those

Finally, Nikon has something to compete with the Canon G Series cameras. This will make both of them better.
