Does this reduce travel?

The spacer kit does not reduce suspension travel. It actually increases the downward travel.

what are the straps for exactly?

With the additional downward travel we recommend the limiting straps. At full extension the rear CV's will bind. We have use them without the straps for quite some time but in heavy conditions with 33in tires the CVs cannot handle the abuse. With the limiting straps you gain a little extra downward travel but they prevent theCV joints from binding.

What wheels and what offset? How is the truck handling with 33s on the street? What kind of modifications did you make to fit 33s? In the pictures shown, are you sitting at off-road height or what?

They are Compomotive wheels with Terrafirma wheel spacers.

How is the truck handling with 33s on the street?

It handles fine. Just did VOT that has a ton of driving on and off road.

What kind of modifications did you make to fit 33s?

Short answer
To fit the wider tires you need to trim the fender in the front by the doors.

It is standard hight. I almost never use off road hight.

one final question on the installed. What is involved with the air line extension? Are you needing to splice or is it just removing the current line from the air shock and then connecting the extension on the end and then reattach? Do you need to bleed the air out of the system first? How robust is the extension connection...will this introduce a greater risk of the line coming apart at the join? Can you post a picture of the air line extension installed?

It's about time something like this came out... that fear was the biggest reason I never considered an LR3, looks good.
