Thanks to everyone for all the kind words and wishes. I already have my wheels turning on things I want to do to put some of my own soul into her while keeping the spirit of the build in place. I will be sure to post photos to document the changes as I go.... :)

Made it to my former home of Yuma yesterday. First order of business, Philly cheese steak and pizza at Ronnie's
also fueled up both tanks and my karma by getting a second pizza for a homeless dude. While chowing down the local
news was reporting on a Harrier that just crashed. Very unfortunate. Thankfully the pilot survived! Makes me feel good
about what I do for a living! :)

Also stopped to see a couple of old friends and check on my house that's being rented out. (Sigh)
Today's mission: get AZ title and tags bee line it to Prescott to see Paul May for a brief reunion
and to pick up some much desired swag
for the roof rack.

thank you Paul you are a gentleman and a scholar I do appreciate your offer on the swag for my journey unfortunately the roads not taking me in your direction it would be great to see your place down and actually get to meet you in personnel if I was in such a rush to get back from work I would most certainly make a detour

Made it from Yuma to Gallup, NM today. Still haven't filled up with any gas yet!! Love the aux tank. Is cool to cover that distance and still have a full tank without stopping to refuel!! Also, got the plate and tags and made a side trip to Prescott to get some gear from Equipt, pick Paul's brain and have a reunion of sorts. GOOD TIMES!!

Totally understand! Someday soon. Take care and be safe.

Cheers!

The rest of the trip was pretty uneventful. The second leg took me to an overnight stay in Fort Smith, AR. The final leg was an epic feat of driving endurance, going almost 24 hours straight to New Bern. I wish I was in a position where I could have camped my way across and took my time, but there will be other times for that.

Now for the fun part.... cleaning and reconfiguring.... :)

Thanks, Paul. spent the day cleaning etc. Now I have a PS fluid leak to deal with. Should be something simple since the PS pump was just replaced with a new one about 2 weeks ago. Can't wait to continue tinkering tomorrow! :)

Well... turns out the PS fluid leak was due to brass bushings being used on th pump install which is where the leaking came from. next speedbump... SUNROOF! Dealership said parts and labor is almost $900!! Find another way, I will! There HAS to be a used sunroof motor out there somewhere!!
