Hello All
First time poster long time lurker (4years)
After being inspired by all of the great rigs on the site I knew that a flippac was what i wanted. So four years later of searching the internet daily I finally came to relieze that I will have to buy a new one on day.
Until I came across a ad selling a tent/shell for $600 mmmm what could that be? not a flippac is it?

Great score!! If I used my truck more, I believe I would go that route.

But I drive my Jeeps the most, so the RTT on the M416 will do the trick for now.

But if I came across a deal like that, it would be to hard to pass up!!:coffeedrink:

Congratulations on a great find. You know, of course, we'll all expect regular updates now. Looking forward to your progress.

Good find.

A couple of things I would do, if you haven't already.

Use some good quality automotive bulb seal to seal between the shell and the top of the rail.

With the top opened up inspect where the torsion arms go back into the shell. There shouldn't be any gap between the silicon and the metal arms or the shell. If the silicon has perished remove as much as you can and re pack it. If the silicon is still good just squirt in some new silicon to seal everything back up.

Inspect this area on a regular basis.

Lets see if we can source them elsewhere. It would be easier on all of us. As I've said before, they are great people, make a great product, but are a little disorganized.
